Principal Investigator: Kurt Beals, Washington University in St. Louis. Drawing on databases and bibliographies of Dada and Expressionist periodicals, the Dada Networks Project uses network analysis to better understand the structure of these movements and the roles of key individuals who mediated between groups of artists and writers. The project aims to illuminate the role played by periodicals and anthologies in defining the contours of these movements, and to develop new approaches for applying network analysis to periodical studies.
