Digital Humanities Working Group

Digital Humanities Working Group

The Digital Humanities Working Group offers a space for faculty and advanced graduate students to present works-in-progress for feedback before submitting their work to an external conference, journal or grant body. The working group consists of monthly meetings in which a scholar presents a current project, followed by a Q&A.  We aim to create a regular community gathering space for researchers in the digital humanities across disciplines in Arts and Sciences. Scholars from all subfields of the digital humanities, including but not limited to cultural analytics, media studies, critical digital studies, critical data studies, and history of science and technology, are welcome. The working group is a collaboration between the HDW, the Transdisciplinary Institute in Applied Data Sciences (TRIADS) and Olin Library Data Services.

If you are interested in attending, please fill out this interest form. Sign-up emails will be circulated in advance of each meeting. Sessions for each semester will also be listed on our events page. Feel free to contact Claudia Carroll (claudiac@wustl.edu) with any questions, or if you are interested in presenting a DH project at one of our meetings.
