Gender Violence Database

Principal Investigator: Jami Ake

The Gender Violence Database is an accessible searchable tool designed for researchers, practitioners, and the general public interested in the multidisciplinary field of Violence Against Women. The database is organized around the principles of Evidence Based Practice, which highlights the ways that scholarly research, practitioner expertise, and a deep understanding of social and cultural context necessarily shape our approaches to the problem of violence against women at all levels of prevention and intervention, from the individual to the political.
